Files a browser was never going to open

A delivery is rarely all JPEGs. There are camera raw files, a layered PSD, an AI or EPS for the album design, a PDF proof, an AVI from an older camera. Most sharing tools either refuse them or accept them and then show a broken thumbnail.

Momenly stores them as they are, at full size, and is honest about what it can draw. A file the browser can render gets a preview. A file it cannot gets a card naming the format and its size, with a download — not a grey rectangle that leaves you wondering whether the upload worked.

Uploading is drag and drop, in the event you are working on. Nothing is re-encoded, and what your client eventually downloads is the file you sent.

A portal for each client, with a door you can close

Clients get their own portal with their own sign-in, not a link that works for anybody who ends up holding it. You choose which files go into it, so the outtakes and the working files stay on your side of the line.

Per event, you decide whether they may download originals, and whether previews carry a watermark until they may. That is the difference between showing a client a selection and handing over the shoot before it has been paid for.

The portal carries your studio name and logo, not ours. And when a job is finished, or a relationship ends, you can revoke a client's access — the portal closes, and the files stay where they are rather than being deleted with it.

Handing it over, and what the plan covers

A client rarely wants the files one at a time, and the downloads screen is where a delivery archive is requested and tracked. Be clear about what runs today: the job list and its states are wired to real data, but nothing builds the archive yet, so the request button is disabled and says so. Until that service is switched on, a client saves the delivery from the portal file by file.

Guest photographs and your own work sit in the same event without mixing: the couple's gallery is the guests' upload, your delivery is the portal. One event, two audiences, two sets of rules.

The professional plan is where the workspace, the client portals, the client logins and branded delivery live, alongside a storage allowance and a limit on how many events can be open at once. Those numbers are on the pricing page rather than repeated here — a copy in a marketing sentence is a copy that goes out of date the first time the plan changes.
