For the host

You create the event on the website

Pick the event type, set the date and timezone, and choose who may see what. A join code, a shareable link and a printable QR are generated the moment you finish.

    Owner-only, approval required, or published to invited guests. Nothing is preselected — the choice is yours to make deliberately.

    Print the QR for the tables

    One code covers the whole event. Put it on the tables, in the invitation, or on a sign by the door.

    Review what arrived, publish what guests should see, mark favourites, and prepare downloads before the window closes.

For the guest

Guests scan and upload. Nothing to install.

No account, no app, no password. A guest scans the code, lands in their own language, picks photos from the camera roll and watches them upload.

For the photographer

Professionals deliver into the same event

Finished work is uploaded to a professional area that stays separate from guest uploads, then handed to the client through a portal showing only their own event.

Retention policy

Photos and videos uploaded to this event are available for 15 days. After 15 days, they will be removed from event owner and guest access. Administrators may access quarantined content for up to 30 days for recovery, security and support purposes. After 30 days, the content will be permanently deleted.

If you are hosting

You create the event, and Momenly gives you a code to print. Before anyone uploads, you choose what happens to what arrives: keep it to yourself, approve each item before guests can see it, or let approved uploads appear as they come in.

During the event you have a queue rather than a feed. Each photo or video waits there until you decide, and what you reject is never shown to anyone else. Afterwards you share the gallery by link, and download the whole thing as one archive whenever you want a copy of your own.

If you are a guest

Point your phone's camera at the code on the table. The gallery opens in the browser you already have. There is no app to install and no account to create — you type a name if you want your uploads attributed, and that is the whole sign-up.

Upload photos and videos as the evening goes. Where the host has turned them on, you can leave a comment or a reaction on someone else's picture. What you see of other people's uploads depends on the choice the host made: sometimes everything approved so far, sometimes only your own until they have looked through it.

If you are the photographer

You pick the event you are shooting and upload into your own area of it, kept apart from what the guests are sending. Camera raw, layered files and video go up as they are; anything a browser cannot draw gets a card naming the format instead of a broken thumbnail.

Then you choose what is actually delivered. The selection goes to a client portal with its own sign-in, under your studio's name, with your decision about originals and watermarks attached to it. One event holds both jobs at once — the guests' gallery and your delivery — without either seeing the other's.

What happens afterwards

An event is open for fifteen days. Guests upload, and everyone holding the link sees what has been approved.

On day fifteen access ends — for the host and for the guests alike. The files are not gone at that point: administrators can still recover them for support and security questions, which is what makes a mistaken deletion or a lost account recoverable at all. That window runs to day thirty.

On day thirty the content is permanently deleted, and nothing is recoverable after that by anyone, including us. The dates are shown on the event from the moment it is created, so the download you take before day fifteen is the copy that lasts.
